Nanquidno is a family run coastal farm on the Lands End peninsula. Our focus here is on conservation and its impact on future generations.
Our small herd of rare breed Longhorn cattle graze the coastal strip of SSSI ( Site of special scientific interest) pasture to create habitats for the Cornish Chough and a massive variety of wild flowers.
25 acres of arable cultivation are given to growing the rare arable weed Vipers Bulgloss whose spectacular purple show can be seen each year in late June early July depending on the weather conditions.
The valley renowned for the sightings of migrant birds is also host to historic mining remains and an ancient Iron Age settlement.
The farm includes some National Trust land at Nanjulian and Boscregan and boasts stunning panoramic coastal views from Lands End to Cape Cornwall with the Isles of Scilly in sight on a clear day.
At Nanquidno we feel that probably one of the best things we can offer you is a walk around the farm taking the time to enjoy its many aspects.
